i just received another directv plus HD DVR receiver tried to get the remote RC64RB to work will not it worked with my older receiver.Any suggestions THANKS

Which model dvr and receiver do you have?

My guess is you have the remote set to rf from the old box press and hold mute and select then enter 961 and hit ch down.

Ok thank you I will try it tomorrow I had to reactivite this new receiver I am assuming I have to wait till I activate the receivers it do it.Do I have to do that to all my remotes .THANKYOU for the info I will get back to you
