Remote TV connections for VIP 922

I've never used a 922, but on the 722 you have to set the receiver to antenna or cable, if I remember correctly. Then select the output channel. Then on the remote tv set it to that channel. Did you try to do a scan for channels on the remote tv to see if it is getting the signal on a channel other than 60?

On the front of problem 922 can you tell whether it is in single or dual mode? (Orange light beside one box or two boxes). If the front panel is not responding, it is either defective or just locked. Unlock is somewhere in settings menu, don't remember where.
i forgot you could lock those buttons. That might be why the OP said they just go bright then dim.

You guys have been amazing.. thanks for your help so far...
Should the TV attached to the VIP922 have the TV1 remote or TV2?
Right now, the only remote working is TV2....
Here's a pic of the VIP922 where the TV attached to it and TV2 are mirrored..

TV1 should be in the room with the 922 and TV2 would have its own.

Here is a PDF link that I found. Good info in there for your 922 and 32.0 remotes. http://www.opticaltel.com/support/docs/32.0 Remote Control User Guide.pdf
