Remote Problem 622

When I hit the MUTE button on my 622 remote the tv light lights up and stays lit as the remote becomes locked. I have to remove batteries to reset it?

Sounds like the mute button is getting stuck and thats why you have to remove the batteries to reset it. I would call and get a new remote.
