Remote for 722k

I have had to order a new remote control. Several years back, someone on the forum had instructions on a sequence of inputs on the remote to program the volume buttons to work with a home theater receiver without having to change modes. Anyone have that information?

Press and hold AUX button (if this is the one programmed for your receiver) until they light up/blink. Then # button, then the + side of the volume control button, then the 0 (zero) button, then # again.

Now the volume control buttons should control your receiver volume without changing modes.
