Redeeming a PPV certificate

So I received my first bill in the mail the other day and with they also sent me one of their "movie money" coupons for a free PPV. However, unlike with Dish where I can just redeem it online from my account, the directions on it say that I have to order the movie, mail the coupon back to them with the account number and wait for them to credit me the charge later. I find this to be a bit annoying because I think they could have done this process more simply just doing it through the online account so before I decide to use it this weekend, have any of you guys redeemed one of these without any issues?

Have done it twice with no problem. Go ahead and rent your movie.

I've had a few over the years, no issues getting the credit. If you use auto bill pay you just mail the coupon after you receive the movie on your bill, doesn't hurt to enclose a printout showing the charge too.

While online would be much more convenient ... if they do the way they did with you, they will find that many of them go unused and they don't lose the money involded, even though it only 5-6 bucks.
