The vbox was working fine, just seemed like it needed better ventilation.
Sooo, I chucked-up a step drill bit and went krazy! There are plenty of holes in the bottom cover too!
Added some thicker stick-on rubber feet to get more air circulation to the underside.
Installed longer mounting screws on the transformer so the xformer mounting tabs could be sandwiched
between neoprene washers to (hopefully) cut down on mechanical hum.
The color choice (signal red) was inspired by the Amiko A3.
The 'hole' modification is not recommended if there are small kids in the house!
(I was going to hot glue some nylon screen material to the inside of the top cover, but the roll of screening is buried somewhere out in the garage.)
