Finally quit raining after 2 days, so I ran outside and swapped out my primestar-motorized dish's lnbf from the old stock one, to one of these little red, lnbfs that iceberg reviewed. Seems to work fine, can't really tell yet if it improved anything, but nothing seems to have dropped in signal strength. Now the primestar raincover won't fit it, I sure hope these redbirds don't go crazy and attack it or something lol. Was tickled that it dropped right into the lnbf clamp that was on the 1m, looked to be in exactly the right position as the old feedhorn too.

I've got one of those as well now. Not bad, I saw a 5-10% increase on some channels (the stuff on 97 West) and 15% some of others. On my 31" dish, it pulled Equity out of the muck and with the LNB tilted the NBC feeds on AMC 1 come in about 80%. With our local PBS slashing it's programming output, it's nice to see the PBSes come in all above 60% on the Fortec when 45-49% was the old standard.
