NPS always was pushing Showtime many years ago when you called. Heck I remember when they offered HBO & Cinemax for $99 a year. If I want a movie these days I get it on the internet and burn it to DVD. The movie channels aren't really worth it anymore, the only ones that interest me any would be the Starz/Encore pkg and you get more channels with H2H than Direct.

In your honest opinion Ice what receiver puts out the best SD picture? Is it true (something I read) that the HD ones put out better SD? Im not talking because of component or HDMI. I'm talking about better processing of the compressed signal.

Yes, kind of a pain that you cant downgrade online, though at least they try to entice you with some type of credit
