Recording the remainder of a program

I discovered that when I pushed RECORD while watching a program, my DVR records the complete show from the beginning. I like that.

yep its pretty cool. Even if say you have the DVR off and turn it on late it still buffered the last channel up to 90 minutes
It will only record from the beginning if its buffered. If you turn to that channel at say 9:03 and it started at 9 it will record from 9:03 to end of program

That only work if you happen to have the recvr on the same channel you are wanting to record.
You can't have it on say espn and at 1/4 after you remember about a show on USA you want to record, when you turn to USA it will only record from the time you turned to it.
