Recording Satellite Channels

I used to be able to record my satellite programs. Now I can't. What's up with that? I pay for my service every month faithfully and now I can no longer record. Help!

If you have a DVR receiver, perhaps your hard drive has cratered and it converted itself to a standard receiver.

It's a duo 322G (not a dvr).

It's a duo 322G (not a dvr).

No error message. It starts recording on the previews and stops on the movie. I've tried several different channels. Supposedly they started encrypting HBO, STARZ and PPV. Any ideas?

What are you trying to record on???

Are you connected via coax, composite, what? For output from the receiver to the recording device, that is.
