recomdations for HD reciever updrade?

I own 2 Dish network 921 DVR’s and would like some recommendations on what HD DVR receiver or receivers to upgrade to? , Also after getting new receivers, what can I do with my 921’s? Can I use them as stand alone dvr’s? Would I be able to gut them and put new software on the hard drive? And make just one stand alone DVR? Any recommendations and help would be appreciated, thanks

Get either a 622 or a 722 or one of each. Tell 'em you earned the right to lease 2 HD DVR's at once to make up for living with the 921's. That's what I did. You'll LOVE either receiver after putting up with the 921. What to do with 'em? They make a good door stop or paper weight. I've also got one you can buy cheap, LOL. Good luck!
