I have been with Dish Network for 2 years. I have 2 receivers. One is a straight normal receiver. The other allows me to tape shows. I now want to get a 3rd receiver. That is the problem. I don't know what I should get or how to find out what each does. I saw one that basically allows two TV's on one receiver. Can anyone help me? Or send me a sight that I can read about the different types?

You probably have a DP301 and a DVR510. Push the sys. info. button on the remote or go to menu 6-1-3 and the first line will be the model number. I would suggest that you do a DIU (dishing it up) and upgrade to a dual tuner 625 DVR that would allow you to record on 2 TVs and as long as it is connected to a phone line 24/7 won't cost you any more than you are paying now if you replace the 510. If you replace the 301 your cost will go up by $5.98 but all 3 locations can record. Call DISH Tech support to get your cost of DIU.
