It's a CGS Hawk ultralight. I bought it wrecked and rebuilt it as an experimental amateur built, complete with airworthiness certificate. I also hold the repairman's certificate for it, allowing me to perform my own maintenance and annuals. Also taught myself to fly and now have over 275 hrs in it.
It has a 46 hp engine and climbs out at 1000 fpm on a cool day. If you pull 45deg of flaps, it goes up faster than it goes forward.
Do I love my Hawk??
