Just spent 40 minutes on the phone between Texas and the Tech call center (not in Texas) trying to get the vip622 activated that Dish sent me to swap out the 622 that they said was bad.
Texas figured out their system was messed up right away. Techs played with it more. They said the receiver I just got from them via UPS was showing up with the same smart card ID as a card i have in a deactivated receiver sitting on a shelf in my closet. I think their database got damaged.
They said it might be working by tomorrow.
