It would have to be a class action if voom refuses to
make good on the unused portion of your contract but I
think they will forfill the contract there will be no
cause for action. You will have a piece of memorabilla
to show your grand kids. Maybe the software can be
replaced for another service. They didnt declare
chapter 11 or 13 so I think they will give you your
contract worth of service.

From my understanting, echostar is not picking up the voom customers.

The dish and lnbf will work for DirecTV, Dish or Expressvu (but not
Starchoice). Assuming you only need to point at one of their
satellites and not a cluster of 2 or 3.

If the Voom box won't continue working as a HD tuner you can at least
use it as a power inserter for the powered OTA antenna Voom gave you!
