RE: [VOOM] Re: Voom DVR
Yep, you're right. Voom needs to concentrate on keeping the service on the
air. Those of us who are more concerned about DVR, like me, can concentrate
on not being Voom customers and instead using a service that does provide
what is more important to us individually. If and when Voom releases DVR, we
can sign up again. There is no sense in "whining" about a lack of voom dvr.
I miss voom a lot. I miss UHD, Rave, Equator, Gun Slinger and a few other HD
channels I can't get with my crappy cable service. But I have what's most
important to me(hd-dvr) so I live without the channels I want.

Voom has made plenty of estimates for a release date in the last year.
Sometimes the best laid plans........and I'm not saying their plans have
been all that well organized.
Circumstances change, development takes longer than expected, etc. If you
want to paint it as a lie, so be it. But you could spend you whole day
looking around and paiting people as liars, if that's your thing. What's the
point?
Voom has other more pressing issues at the moment. I don't think stomping
one's feet for a DVR is appropriate at this point in time, IMO. Let them
focus on keeping operations running and the DVR will come in time.
