Just installed 5LNB dish and HR 20 DVR yesterday. Reluctantly said "buh bye" to my Tivo, but now that I'm fully committed to HD...

Anyway, this Forum has been very helpful as I made important decisions about upgrading, but I have a question regarding the GUIDE button on the remote:
Is there a way to have the GUIDE button skip directly to your FAVORITE stations page? In other words isn't there a fix for having to hit the GUIDE button twice to get where you want to go?

Thanks in advance for any assistance on this.

Thank you "mikew"! That's the info I was looking for.

Since my HR20 "updated" to ox134 last night, one-touch-guide :up is only a few clicks away. And, yes, it works perfectly!

I don't know what I'm gonna do with the four-seconds a day of time this is going to save me, but I'll think of something.

Yes, If you have the latest software, you can push the Guide and Active button at the same time and it will change then guide button to give you the guide right away, if thats what you were refering to.

As someone mentioned, the Ox134 software should be a National release very soon, so you should ALL be able to make that change.

its a pain

I wonder how D* plans to communicate these changes to the user base. Maybe they can finally put the receiver's mail system to use. I was talking to my brother about these changes and he was surprised to find several of the shortcuts I've learned on-line.

My favorites so far..

1 Click Guide
Pressing info on the channel icon to see upcoming programs for one channel
Music (not working very well, but it should get better)

I talked with a CSR this morning and he told me that his computer shows that the H20 is scheduled to get the software upgrade, to make the active features work like the HR20 does, in Mid 2007. It would be nice to have the one click guide feature on the H20, as well as the other active features of the HR20.
