I finally got my 512 mg 2600xt installed. How in the sam hill do I play video on the second monitor ( my tv) ONLY?

For instance, I have TSReader running and VLC is playing ONN on G17. How do I transfer that to the TV?

According to the ATI control panel I have it setup correctly, the monitor says 1 and the TV says 2.

I HAVE to be missing something here!

( and can you tell I have never had a Radeon card before?) :)

It may even be a VLC setting, Stogie. I know that in DVBdream you can select which monitor to use for video. I have the same card, and the ATI panel is confusing. I am only using one monitor, though, the HDTV , and have it set up as two monitors that are cloned.

I figured it out. You have to DRAGGGGG it over to whatever you want it to display on and go from there. So I open TSReader and VLC, then drag the VLC window off the monitor screen and it starts coming onto the TV screen.

And, unlike my NVIDIA card, this one can adjust the overscan so the HD pic fills up the WHOLE screen. :)

Inelegant, but it works. :)
