R22 Question

I just got a new r22 dvr to replace my old one. I have it hooked up to my lcd tv by and hdmi cable and i was wondering if there was a way to change the bar color. I cant find the option in settings.

If you're talking about the blue info bar when you change channels the answer is no, there is no user setting to change the color scheme.

BTW, don't forget to connect the ethernet port to your network so you can use media share and DirecTV on Demand.

I mean the bars that are on both sides of the screen when something is not in widescreen.

hdtv
change pillar setting to stretch

That doesn't change the color. The HD boxes have a selection under Menu-Setup-HDTV-Bar Color. Possibly the R22 has a similar setting.

On the R22 its Not accessible for some stupid reason.

They would sure make a lot of us happy if they would enable the HD on these boxes.
