r22-200...switching from swm slimline setup to standard 18" dish

Hey guys,
I have a swm slimline setup at my primary residence, one of the receivers is a r22-200. I have a lake house with a standard 18" dish and used to run my d12 up there. The d12 fell off the counter and broke the connection from the power plug receptacle to the board. I brought my r22 to the lake house and tried to use it. Came up with a wierd error about power problems. It didn't hit me until I got back home that it probably needed to run through satellite setup again to delete the swm setup (since there is no power inserter). Can I just rerun setup with my r22 or am I missing something?

Yes, just rerun your setup for an 18" dish and you should be good to go.

You may need to let it sit at searching for signal for 5-10 minutes before the menu button will allow you to redo satellite setup.

Cool beans...thanks for the replies. Been a couple of years since I worked installing these suckers. Funny how time and excess beer fogs your memory! Hopefully, it'll work so I can watch the race saturday!

yep just redo the sat setup. I've done that with my R22's

now remember you will need 2 lines from the dish to the R22 to work properly
