R15 Software Version

Tried to force an update on my R15 300 but I do not think it worked.

I went into menu, setup, info and test and this is what I have:

Original Version 0x100B
Past Upgrade 0x1047, 10/18/1979 2:47am
Future Upgrade Not scheduled

I have the 30 sec skip feature, but it still wants to change the channel or cancel a recording at say 9:55 if I have two set for 10:00 which is pretty dumb.

Is this the proper location for the software versions you guys are looking at, I've seen some saying they have version 108?

According to the source cited below [1}, the R15-300 is at 1047 and the R15-500 is at 10c8. Since yours lists 1047 as the previous version (although the year in that date, 1979 puzzles me), I would assume you have the newest.

Thanks. That's what threw me was the date. I sure hope they fix where the dvr wants to change channels 5 minutes too early for recording on both tuners, that sucks. Other than that, I like the r15.

1047 should fix your 5 minute warning issue..

x1047 is the latest version for the R15-300 model
