Quetzsat 1 Successfully Launched!

Does anyone know what's going to be on the new satellite?? I thought someone said it would not be use for locals on this satellite or I could be wrong.

Have you tried getting any test signals off it?

No.

They test in bursts and licensed test ground transmit stations from 3 different companies indicating they are likely rotating the satellite on it's axis and needed wide geographic locations to maintain uplinks.
They are probably measuring the downlink beams at a single or few locations which would standardize the test data.
