I believe I have a Dish 500 (access to 110 and 119). When I go to option 6-1-1 and check the signal strength, it looks like it is on 119 transponder 11 and I get 65 signal strength. How do I check 110, what transponder does it use?
I assume that the reason I have channels listed twice (some in the low number range and duplicates in the high number range) that it is because you have access to those coming from 110 and those coming from 119, right? So you really don't NEED both, unless a transponder went out for some reason... I also assume that 110 and 119 are different satelites, right? located at geosync orbits...
Anyway, what is a good signal strength. Mine hovering at 65 or so, until I checked, I never had any issues....picture has always been good, and no outages due to heavy rain or anything.
Also, is there any place that discribes the different locations like 65.1, 110, 119, 129, etc... and their transponders?
I know I don't have access to them, as I have a dish 500, which I believe is locked into only 110 and 119, but having the info would be nice, if I ever decide to change.
Thanks.
P.S. If I have a 722k and a 222k reciever, that's all I can lease from Dish, right? If I want another HD reciever, would that be a 211? How much are they...dish is very non helpful when I call them!
