Greetings from Northern IL. This is my first post here on SatelliteGuys so if this question is in the wrong place feel free to move it to the correct area. I am located here in Rockford IL which is the second largest city here in IL which leads me to ask this question. How does Dish or Directv for that matter decide which markets goes up on satellite. Rockford is surrounded with cities that are up or will be going up on satellite. Madison, Chicago, and next year Moline IL and Davenport IA will be going up. Do they go by population? By the amount of customers in the areas where locals go up? I have always wondered how the process works. TIA
