I have a Mitsubishi WD 65732 TV, a VIP 622 STB and a Sony STR-K850p AV receiver. The connection between the 622 and the Mitsubishi is HDMI. Last night I bought a STR-DG800 HDMI "passthrough" receiver. Upon hooking it up using HDMI cables I learned that this set up carries no audio. The new 800 wil be going back today. What is the best way, in terms of sound quality, to hook my old receiver up? I have component video options and RCA. Does component video carry audio? Any help would be appreciated.
