I have an appointment scheduled with comcast but I figured I would get a junp on things and re-connect the cable line that is outside. THere is some sort of security device on the jack so I can put in the little cable line.. is there any easy way to remove this?

No..... Well, you can, but you have to cut it off and then add in a new end and that leaves you with theft of service.

CUT it off? Is that what comcast is going to do when they come on Wed? Its not on the end of the cable to my house.. its on the distibution block...

Oh, on that end. No, you can't do that either, they have a tool to remove that and you don't.
