how do you lhook up the joey to the internet so my parents can use the apps etc?

thanks

Allen

The Joey is connected to a Hopper. The Hopper is connected to the Internet. Enable bridging on a single Hopper if you have more than one.

I put a Hopper Internet Connector (HIC) in my system and it allows everything to be connected. The HIC needs to be connected to the modem and also wired in with the coax going to the Hopper or Joey.

its gotta be wireless the modem is in the computer room right now the installer forgot to hook the joey to the internet to use the apps etc he hooked up the hopper and i am having no problems with that.

ok i will see if i can get it work this afternoon.thanks for the help

well i tired it a minute ago and i got everything else to work on the joey but the problem is i went to setting and then went to network setup then to broadban on the right side is save, network details, reset network on the picture there is a picture of the joey and then a line with two XX on it then a picture of the modem and then a line with a question mark then internet globe.

Read my earlier post. The setup is done from the HOPPER. assuming your Hopper is connected to the internet. Navychop also explained it.

HIC works great in reverse as well. Do they install very many HICs now since the Hopper can bridge?
