question on spanish channels

how can i get these channels without a special dish? i thought you need a new dish to receive spanish channels, i just looked and i got the spanish channels, just curious

You need a SL-5 LNB to get all the spanish channels. They are on the 119 satellite. If your just talking about the basic ones that are included in english basic packs, like Univision, they are located on the main sats.

Univision and Galavision are on 101W (HD on 99 or 103...I forget)
most of the rest require access to the 119 satellite which is just a LNB change

the "special dish" you're thinking of is a 95W dish and that is for other language options (like Russian). Its a separate dish

since you're a MPEG4 market (your locals are only in HD...there is no SD counterpart) they probably installed a SL3 (99/101/103)
