question of adding new channels

I'm a noub when it comes to fta, so I have a question actually 2 questions. Equipment and location
1) viewsat 2000 plat
2) 90cm dish w/ sg2100 hh motor
3) Coolsat Ku-lnbf dual
Now for the questions... I've been trying to add channels for wild feeds and doing a satscan or channel scan doesn't show the transponders, so I go to channel edit and try to add these channels from lyngsat and use the numbers from there. but never seem to get anything am I doing something wrong... I put in the freq tp and the scan rat and if its hor or verticle but never seem to get anything... can someone shed light on this?
Also wondering if the feed channels are up on weekends???

BTW my location is in the east and yes I am getting the birds ok just wondering if I can get some english stuff rather than all of the forein stuff I have now???

had to edit it the questions are there what am I doing wrong inputing the # from lynsat into my 2000 it never seems to work yet I can scan same sat and I get progrmaming?
Are the network wild feeds active on weekends?

Feeds are up on weekends..really depends on whats happening. I;ve found the easiest way to add TP's is to do a blind scan and any TP found is added to the list in the antenna setup. At least that's what my Pansat receiver does.

Now I have anew question.... if there are no wildfeeds up and I blind scan a sat does it include the channels that aren't active or just bypasses them becaus there's nothing on them?
