pete: what program do you use to figure out someones latitude and longitude. you have already quoted me, but as i checked other sources , it shows different exact figures...like my zip code is 95388. can anyone help. like to know which program is the most current and accurate.

There are some great tools over at Sadoun, which is where I found my position. Also a ton of the new cell phones have that info as well, so you might want to check your cell options (I use my nextel when helping other people set their stuff up in the field)

Oh, and the changing figures are due to rounding. Once you have your position, thats it, you can't shift without a major quake
