Just bought a Zapperbox M2 to try it out and it does give me a few more channels than my Mediasonic Homeworx tuner. My question is that the ATSC 3.0 channels have a blue key next to them and only show a black screen when I tune to them. Is that the DRM encryption? I thought the Zapperbox would give me those channels?

I'm sure it is. What stations are they?(call sign)
You can look them up on rabbitears to verify if you need an internet connection to get those stations
As example in Minneapolis CBS, FOX and NBC have encryption
I'm at work right now so I can't check. My Zapperbox is connected to the internet though and I thought that would decode the DRM.

Here's the main thread over at Avsforum, and Zapperbox admin posts in it from time to time. Zapperbox ATSC 3.0 Tuner

The Zapperbox is supposed to decode and display ATSC 3.0 DRM feeds.
Some stations now and again have their 3.0 broadcasts messed up, and then ZB has to push a fix, OR once they know, contact the station to get them to fix it. These stations apparently do NOT monitor their broadcasts live, so never seem to know there's issues until somebody reports it.

Looking at the list the only station without encryption is Fox. ABC, CBS, NBC and WAXN (Independent) has encryption but should come in as you mentioned it is hooked to internet. The receiver may just need an update. Otherwise try and reboot the box.

I think I'm going to reset the box to factory settings when I get home. It is connected to the internet but it keeps telling me it's not when I check for an update.
