Question About RG6 Cable

If I use a standard coax jumper cable from my receiver out to my T.V. will that block my reception even though my receiver info is showing up on the T.V. screen?

I'm using ribbon cable from the dish to the receiver, but a regular coax jumper out to the t.v.

no, that's fine. you just need good quality cable from the reciever to the dish

make sure you use good connectors too....compression are the best
