Question about HD Strength signal

I love watching my HD football on Sundays. My signal strength comes up pretty high normally when watching the NFL games on CBS.

My signal for FOX on the other hand varies between bad and good like very few seconds, causing my picture to continually break up. However, I watched some of the Baseball game last night on FOX and the picture was perfect, never fading in and out and my signal stayed pretty strong. Is this just the local FOX station not sending out proper signals during the day for my NFL games?

Driving me crazy here........

BTW, I'm using my OTA for local channel feeds on HD.

What you are experiencing can be caused by a couple things. The two most common though, are multipath rejection, and the local stations encoder not being able to keep up. When this happens, most transmitters shut off until they receive some valid data again. If it is multipath, repointing your antenna may help, or removing any preamps, etc.

I too noticed the Fox signal hiccupping once every 90 seconds or so.
