Question about dual tuners

Hi all new to the forum and just ordered my first satellite..should be installed this friday..

I am getting the 522 dvr...My question.. Is the video quality and sound the same on both outputs of the receiver..?

No. I believe you can choose on the main between rca's, s-video, dd-output. But the secondary tv is an rf cable with mono sound.

The TV2 RF output is MTS Stereo. The manual is wrong.

Also, there ARE RCA outputs for TV2, also. No DD audio or S-Video, tho.

secondary tv in a 322/522 install

i have found that the secondary tv on a dual tuner install is highly sensitive to the length of the cable run. a grainy picture becomes much more noticable as the cable run gets longer. i would recommend all fresh cable to the second tv.
