Hi I'm new here,

I have a question regarding CW. Is the CW included in the local channel package if there is no CW in my DMA? I'm in Salinas-Monterey DMA where we don't have CW or ABC (had KABC before it was removed). I have e-mailed Dish, and I was told it was not included. I get it on channel 232 and 252.

This is what I subscribe to:
-Latino Max
-Local channel package (now since I did not get them removed by 12-31-06 but I'm planing to keep)
-Super station package with only KTLA and WWOR

If it is included can I have the super station KTLA 232 removed? I have not called Dish but would like to know for sure before I call.

Thank you

Local channels currently available in this package:
Monterey/Salinas, CA $4.99 Locals Package - $5.99 per month
Station Local Channel Number Dish Channel Number
MONTEREY-SALINAS AZA-KMCE 43 9192
MONTEREY CBS-KION 46 9187
MONTEREY FOX-KCBA 35 9189
MONTEREY NBC-KSBW 8 9188
MONTEREY PBS-KCAH 25 9190
MONTEREY UNVSN-KSMS 67 9194

**CW Programming on Dish Channel Number 252 where available

Since you see it on 232 & 252, the 252 is for locals and 232 is for the Supers. I am in the same boat (no CW) but I get WPIX included on 251. I do not see it on 234 (its Supers spot)

So if you cancel KTLA on 232, you'll still get it on 252 because that's tied into the locals :)

It's somewhat like a DISH screensaver...
