Quest to find a mystery song

Google can't find it, Shazam can't find it, not even Fark can find it. There's a song that plays on the Muzak station at work with silly lyrics and I've been trying to track down the song name and/or artist. From the sound of the song, it seems to be from the 90's or later. It's a guy singing to a fly bouncing off the window. Here's the chorus:

You're a lot like I

This seems to be a real mystery song, judging by the number of views, no response, and my googling and finding out this is apparently a catchy tune, (someone mentioned heard it at Walgreen´s I think), but no idea what is it, googled lyrics, tried all tricks I know and Nada ¡

My name is Brian Irwin and I wrote and recorded the song "Little Fly" being discussed here. I have no idea how it wound up on Walgreen's playlist. It was never released or posted online.
