Putting two 18" together using a waveguide? Another messed up idea?

OK I know it might not gain too much but I have a bunch of 18" dishs around and I was wondering if I could put the output of two into one LNBF using some kind of waveguide?

Since I don't know how much loss there would be I was wondering if 1/2" copper pipe would work?

Sounds like it would be easier to phase your L-Band signals together.
