PTAT shows are sometimes just blank

Twice now, our recordings of Fox on Sunday have been completely blank. We record Bob's Burgers and Family Guy. Bob's was just a half an hour of nothing. Tuning to the channel, the video was there. What the heck is going on?

After PTAT stopped recording, I went back and played it again. It was still a black screen. I then fast forwarded, and it immediately jumped to the end of the show, and I saw the last bit of the credits. I then used rewind to go back to the start of the program, and it played fine at that point. Very odd.
