I might be wrong but like the 922 It was posted that the hopper has no manual timer setting

It doesn't have a manual timer on the receiver itself ,just online through DISH remote access or DISH online. Hopefully the hopper will have both manual and DISH pass timer options on the receiver itself, like the other vip receivers.

Maybe if they fix the Hopper they will add the code to our 922's....

Either add the code or replace the 922s with the hopper/joey system.

This is DISH we are talking about. Do you really think that they built a" Hal 2000" like computer into the Hopper? Oh maybe they did and that is why they call it the Hopper 2000.
