So can Satelliteguys if people would just answer a person's honest question, after all that's what the site is here for.The answer to your question is made clear on the both the WWE and Netflix web pages.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and will feed him for a lifetime. So can Satelliteguys if people would just answer a person's honest question, after all that's what the site is here for.
Pretty much my point.Be nice for a day and people come back. Be a jerk and they don't...
Luckily Sony has never required a Plus account to access online Media (Neflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc...).I was a Playstation Plus member for many years but let it lapse two years ago and have not missed it. I still have full, complete use of my PS4 for steaming video on any app and playing games. My only limitation is accessing the multiplayer mode in certain games -- and not even all games.
The PS5 will not play PS3 discs. So, does anyone know if the PS5 will play the older PS3 games?
Thanks.The PS5 will not play PS3 discs.
I have a PS5 and I really am happy with it. I got mine a few months ago via an Amazon "Invitation" to buy one. To get the invitation I had to sign up last summer and wait a couple of months, but at least I was able to get a new PS5 at the MSRP of $499 instead of the scalper price on eBay.Thanks.
I was thinking of upgrading to the PS5 in a few months and trying the new PSVR2 as the features look amazing. But I think I will just wait to see what the Oculus Quest 3 brings. The PSVR2 is still a tethered HMD. I was hoping it would be wireless connection to the PS5. Oculus Quest is wireless stand alone with capability of connection to a PC to play PC games.
My Quest 2 does keep getting better with each software upgrade but it has LCD while the newer HMD's are all switching to OLED for better image quality.
Anyway, I certainly wouldn't upgrade to the PS4, however, maybe buy PS5 for my grand kids for next Christmas.
OK, I checked with Amazon on this and the PS5 disc version is still on "Invitation" They said the way it works is you sign up and the list is first come first serve to get one when it arrives. You can either accept or deny. Easier to just go to my local Game Stop store and walk in and buy. The price is $499. I think you got a good deal as you were early adopter when the demand must have been insane.I have a PS5 and I really am happy with it. One suggestion if you get a PS5: Keep it horizontal. Why? Because there have been reports of the liquid metal which joins the processor to the heatsink leaking out onto the main board and shorting out various components.
The PSVR2 specs and reviews are amazing. But I don't know how well it would work for someone like me who is far sighted? (I need reading glasses with about a 3.0 rating to see anything within a few feet.)
And while the PS5 does not play PS3 games, it does play PS4 games.
Costco has them in stock as a bundle.OK, I checked with Amazon on this and the PS5 disc version is still on "Invitation" They said the way it works is you sign up and the list is first come first serve to get one when it arrives. That's why I was careful to confine my remarks to using the media that you had purchased.I did learn that the subscription service Playstation Now allows you to stream older PS2 and PS3 games on the PS4 AND the PS5. Cost $120 per year.
I read one report that claimed Sony loads the older PS versions into the appropriate PS device and that is used to stream to you through your Now account. I don't understand how that could work as a remote control gaming server but assuming it does work that way, wouldn't the latency severely hamper the performance? That's why I was careful to confine my remarks to using the media that you had purchased.
First off, Playstation Now is dead, it is now PS Plus Premium, same price.I read one report that claimed Sony loads the older PS versions into the appropriate PS device and that is used to stream to you through your Now account. Every time I put mine on, my Labs freak out and start bothering me, one time my yellow lab did a flying leap on me, of course I was not prepared. All things considered, this lack of backward compatibility and requiring to repurchase games for the new console soured me in the past. One good thing about my Oculus Quest is all the games I have for Quest 1 play on the Quest 2. However some Quest 2 games can't be loaded on the Quest 1. Red Matter 2 is like that.
I have both, love the PS5, great for discs , streaming not as good.Bruce-
I've heard enough to avoid the PS5. Watched many reviews too. I'm sticking to Oculus Quest 2 and my grandsons will stay with the 4 for now.
No stock, just a better bundle option there, but if you do not have a membership, then it is a moot point.Interesting that you keep pushing Costco. You must own stock in them. I used to have Costco but the location is horrible and the wait time at the register was awful. I switched to BJ's and am very happy with what they offer although inventory is nowhere near what CostCo carries from my recollection. I also dropped Sams Club too.
My point about the internet, it is not a issue on my end, it is on their end, the streaming service is just not ready for prime time yet, also have the XBOX X, their streaming service is amazing, Microsoft runs laps around Sony.As far as internet, I have a commercial account with Comcast Business band and it is perfect here too but more expensive than the consumer Xfinity account. Years ago I did contract engineering for the Cable TV production end of Comcast and the Business internet account was a free perk. After I retired I just kept it.
