Well, it's nothing news here - I'm telling this to everybody since September.
Sony is in deep sh*t: they couldn't produce a working prototype, not even a lower clocked one for CES.
The only thing they had was a movie on a display, supposedly decoded by Cell (deconding machine was hidden(, done purely by software - which just strengthened my old idea about the very late arrival of PS3's graphics chip, the RSX. It wasn't even taped out around September, so most likely the first spin came back from the foundry sometimes December, one extra spin is always needed, even if we're talking about well-known mfr'ing process, so earliest RSX availability weighs in around March, I think. Which, of course, makes the best case for shipping somewhere during the Summer...
