I like it when you guys post these numbers - gives me a good laugh.
If there were exactly the same amount of 360's and PS3's in homes, this would mean something.... as it is, I guess it does prove that there are more 360's out there, but that's about it.
Also new at number six in the charts is the Xbox 360 version of Turok, with the PlayStation 3 version at number eight. Reaching number three in the multiformat charts, 58 percent of sales went to the Xbox 360 version overall and 42 percent to the PlayStation 3 version.
The Xbox 360 version of Eidos’ first person shoot ‘em-up Conflict: Denied Ops is at number twenty-one, with the PlayStation 3 version at number twenty-four.
I can't find UK numbers, but outside of Japan and the US, the 360 is only up 1mil units, (5m vs 4m). If it were as easy as your dismissal, the rest of the multiconsole releases would hold a similar ratio, and they didn't. I thought JoeSP was boasting somewhere that the PS3 was outselling the 360 in the UK but can't find it, not like he'd have posted a link anyways.
Gamasutra - Devil May Cry 4 Leads Busy UK Sales Chart
This then goes on to be an even bigger win to 360 owners since this was formerly a PS3 exclusive. I was ok with the numbers before you dismissed them, since it shows, given a minor lead, how much of the PS3 userbase are nearly dedicated BD players, but then that's contradicted by the other numbers i quoted above. /shrug.

You missed a point there, there are a lot more 360's out there than PS3's, so owner buy ratio would be higher for the PS3 than the 360 compared to the numbers you put up there.
Those were UK only numbers ... and PS3 has more installed base there was the point....
Least from what I read.
Who cares if more copy of dmc4 is sold for the 360 in the UK. How does that info brings joy to my life.
I haven't got a dime from sony, nor microsoft. As a fan of both system I buy the console and I buy the games that catch my intreset. The day I start caring what games is selling on what system in another country. I better see a check in the mail box.
