I have a quick question; do I have a legitimate complaint if I my old HD sammy STB was replace by a Refurb H10, furnish by DTV thru the Protection Plan. If I'm not happy with the picture quality of H10? Don't get me wrong I'm not the biggest fan of the Samsung but it's HD PQ compare to the H10 is far more superior. Sharper and brighter colors. What I'm I entitled to under the protection plan and is there a better HD STB out there that DTV holds in stock?

DirecTV systems are not set up to send you a specific receiver.
If you order a new DirecTV DVR you may get a R10 or R15, for example.
You can send it back and try again. Or if you can find a Sammy unit locally ask for a credit so you can purchase it yourself. If you can talk to your local installer and see what they have been getting lately.

why dont you go a local store and get the H20 for 199.99 - 200 rebate = free
or you can ask directv to give an instant 200 credit on your account instead of the rebate
