Protect recordings With PIN

For as long as I can remember (back until at least the DVR 625 days) Dish DVRs had the ability to protect recordings from deletion using the same PIN # as the receiver lock PIN. Now it appears that on Hopper that protecting recordings only protects them from automatic deletion (not even sure if that works, haven't filled up either of my Hoppers yet.)

Anyway recordings that are marked as protected now no longer require the PIN to delete on the Hopper. Does Dish plan on fixing this or did they intentionally leave out that feature?

I just tested it here on a Hopper and I wasn't able to either. I will pass that suggestion along. Thanks.

Yes that was the first thing I tested on the hopper and was disappointed I dont wont other people deleting my shows please fix
