Proper Satellite Numbers for AT9

I just had my system installed and finished today. I got 2 HR20-700s and 1 D11. I don't know how to read these numbers but here goes (I hope it comes out formatted right)

These settings were retreived from the box that has a bad tuner 2. I swapped tuner two's line to tuner 1 and it worked fine, so the cable is good along with the converter. The other HR20-700 is working fine on both tuners. I tried unplugging, resetting, to no avail.

I guess my real question is what should I be seeing on 99(b) & 103(a)?

On the 99 and 103 you may not see anything, it depends if you are in an area that is using mpeg4 yet or not....
You 99 looks good, so I would guess that anything you get in MPEG4 comes from that sat. Keep in mind you probably only use one maybe 2 transponders on either of those new sats, so the zero's shoud not alarm you.

No MPEG 4 for me yet. I'm in Mobile, AL/Pensacola, FL area so my DMA is pretty low on the totem pole for getting locals.

Good to see that everything else is fine except for this darn Tuner 2.....Thanks for the quick reply.

I think that means that there is no programming on that sat yet for your area

When I run a test, I show a signal aquired on both my tuners, Check your connections to the tuners on the back of your unit first, could it be that the installer did not hook it up, or possibly not ran the 2nd line ?

99 & 103 are spotbeam satellites only, so you have to be under or very near the beam to see a signal. Lack of a signal or only 1 or 2 transponders showing signal is perfectly normal. Btalbot your signals look very strong, it looks like the low signal strengths that the H20 shows have been corrected in the HR20 software.

I got 78% on transponder 1 (101*) 59% on sat 110* , 44% on sat 119*,
50% on sat 95* , 0% sat 103 net 13 , 0% on sat 103* net ??, 0% on sat 99* net ?? and 80 % on sat 99* net ??

Jimbo-It was a bad tuner in my unit. I had no sig on tuner 2, so I swapped tuner 1's input and still didn't get a signal. My unit manufacture date was Aug 21st I believe. Directv sent me another one and I popped it in yeseterday (manufacture date Sep 28th). All is well, and I'm happy (I just got a 42" plasma for the Master BR). Now I need to get a piece of furniture to put it on (thinking about a lift unit).

Kds64-Pensacola (Cantonment), FL. From what I gather, it all depends on the area of the country you are in. I'm not gettting MPEG4 yet (since my DMA is so low). Apparently my numbers are pretty darned good.

Additionally, since I don't have MPEG 4, I bought a Channel Master CM4228 antenna and put it in my attic yesterday afternoon. I have one station that broadcasts on Channel 9 and this antenna has high gain at the upper end of the VHF range, so I was able to pick it up with this UHF antenna. I'm getting 100% on all the channels that are broadcasting in digital/HDTV. So once MPEG4 is here, I'll use the antenna as a backup.

Man is this fun or what? Enjoying myself too much......

I've installed more than 20 H20's in msp and all but one have not read any signal strength on the 103 - yet all have received locals in HD fine. I've installed about 5 HR20's and all read the 103 fine. I suspect there is a software problem with th H20's reguarding signal strength on the 103.

KDS: I'm in AZ - and the numbers are lower than what I'm getting - but - I am not getting anything on 103, only 99 sat.
