I have the above LNB hooked up to my receiver but I'm not sure that I've done it right. I have one coax cable running from a single LNB output to my receiver. I assume that since it claims to have a built-in switch that no further switching is required. Is this correct?
Also, I am only getting the 110 even TP's and no 119 at all. Strong signal but "wrong satellite". Do I need to tweek my aiming or is this the result of an incorrect hookup?

Thanks,

WM

Thanks NoBoB,

Yes it is a DirecTV Phase III and I have it hooked to a Dishnet 500 receiver. I am able to watch programing on the 110 sat-even TP's only. I do not get the odds nor do I get any on 119. Are these the results that I should expect from this setup? If so, I can live with that since I only use it on weekends and don't want to waste my time trying to tweek my system if it will do no good.

yes
The DirecTV Phase III is totally different than a Dish setup
-The Phase III combines the 110 and 119 transponders together
-Dish uses their own switches, Directv uses 22k

If you MUST use that dish, use the LNB for 101 (far right LNB if behind the dish) and aim for 119 or 110. The other LNB's are pretty much useless

With DBS LNBs, the skew doesn't matter as far as polarization is concerned. Skewing the dish may give you a little stronger signal just because it's not round, but I wouldn't worry about it because the signal is pretty strong anyway.
