I have been strugling for months trying to get good signal from sat C, however this is the best I could have after several tunnings and even a dish replacement.

Sat A (Transponder 1) 75
Sat B (Transponder 22) 92
Sat C (Transponder 8 - 0, 10 - 30, 12 - 35)

I live in the southest part of Texas (Brownsville) on the border with Mexico.

Is ther a signal amplifier that can help me?

You have some other problem causing low signal, amplification needs a signal to begin with. Sat A with signal of 75 is too low Sat C transponder 8 signal 0 can't be improved by amplification. Something is blocking signal from hitting the dish or you don't have it aimed correctly.

Boba is right again! The best way to tweak your install if you're comfortable...

Get on your hands free cell phone and while you're moving your dish around VERY SLIGHTLY make sure whoever is watching on the TV end is checking the 101 SAT on Transponder 1.

I am in Colorado and only get about an 86-88 there but all my SAT C's are in the 92-94 range. Line Of Sight (LOS) is also very important so you should ensure you're obstruction free, no trees, bouncing off buildings, etc.

In your case I would start with the polarization of your dish as your other signals are acceptable in your location. Meaning your Azimuth and Elevation are likely correct.

Mr. Avalanche:

Pardon my ignorance, but what do you mean with polarization?

LOL, sorry about that, yeah it is tilt ... the dish will move in 3 directions and they are Azimuth, Elevation and polarization (Tilt) ;)

See but when I think of "tilt" I think of some jerk at the card room who ticked me off and "made me" dump 200 bucks to him

I run a nice pot limit game if anyone is interested! Note the signature, this is not electronic only.
