That statement is 100% wrong. I don't know where you came up with this. I have been an E* customer for 6 or 7 years, and in all that time I have never been charged for talking to customer service.

Edit: After reading some of this guys posts in the other forums, I realize that I should have just ignored him :no

Maybe it costs Dish Network $5.00 but it does not cost the customer $5.00 unless you downgrade your services and sometimes they will even waive that particularly if you are upgrading service at the same time.
