Brought our vip 722 receiver from MI to Austin, TX. Trying to set up with a turbo hd dish. No luck. Practiced at home in MI before we left, no problem. What's happening? Called a couple of local dish network guys for coordinates. Do we need to switch to eastern arc or something? Very frustrated!! Need help!

How is your receiver connected to the dish (single cable and separator?)? What shows on the install summary when you run a check switch test (menu-6-1-1-check switch-test)?

double make sure mast is plum, you have skew and elevation right for the area you are in. use a meter instead of receiver meter.
