Problems Setting up Oval Dish

Hello, I am looking for detailed instructions of how to set up an oval dish. I understand the elevation settings, but the azimuth and tilt are a mystery to me. Please advise as I did not see detailed instructions on D'TV's web site.

I am near San Luis Obispo, CA (Cayucos)

Thanks for the link on the instruction manual. Starting to make sense although the tilt is still a little fuzzy to me. I may be posting back.

and you are zone 3 for the lnb holes

I get slightly differant nbrs on a look-up on my receiver for zip code 93401
San Luis Obispo Ca.
Az 147.4
El 47.6
Tilt 104.5
F.Y.I.

i got mine directly from the directv at-9 download manual??!!

Not doubting you at all....just saying what my receiver reports when I input the
zip-code 93401....Don't know how far San Luis Obispo, CA , would be from LA and
if it's enough to make a differance?

Is he looking for AT9 or Phase 3? Yes he should be doing AT9 but from his post the Phase 3 looks more likely. Seeing the Phase 3 is centered on 110 and the AT9 uses 101 the settings should be different.
